Arcadia Academy, constructed in 1846, boasts a rich history spanning over 150 years. During the Civil War, it served as a Union hospital, and subsequently, it operated as a girls’ school administered by the Ursuline nuns until 1971. Renowned for its architectural significance and stained glass windows, the Academy has since transitioned into a private residence.
